Freestyle 1 - Rusheen Bay - 27th April 25

Scheduling windsurfing events can be tricky but Irish athletes always manage to make to most of what is there on the day! That is exactly what happened for this year’s Rusheen Bay freestyle event. Despite having to be rescheduled due to light winds, on Sunday the 27th of April Rusheen Bay came alive!

The action was well worth the wait! A spectacular showdown between 14 competitors lit up the water with bold high end moves being thrown down. Even as the wind dropped earlier than hoped, the crowd was treated to incredible tricks – including some never-before-seen moves and even flat-water loops!
