Freestyle Round 3 - Rusheen Bay - 6th-7th Sept 2025

On September 6th and 7th, Rusheen Bay came alive with energy as fourteen sailors took to the water to demonstrate their exceptional skills. The atmosphere throughout the weekend was outstanding, with a large number of spectators gathered to witness the impressive performances delivered by all competitors.

The event commenced on Saturday with coaching sessions, after which the Silver Fleet capitalised on favourable wind conditions. Competitors impressed the judges with a series of expertly executed combos, at times performed with such speed that capturing every detail proved a challenge.

Although Sunday morning brought a lull in the wind, conditions improved by midday, allowing the Gold Fleet to begin competition. In gusty 5.0m conditions, sailors faced a more demanding conditions nevertheless, the fleet successfully completed the course allowing for a full set of results.

Sincere thanks are extended to Rusheen Bay Watersports for hosting an outstanding event, and to the many dedicated volunteers whose efforts were integral to its success. From catering to timekeeping and event coordination, their contributions formed the backbone of the weekend.
