Here are latest details for the 1st event in the 2024 IWA calendar year!

Roll on Newtownards, Co. Down on 20th-21st April 2024!!

The Newtownards, Co. Down windsurfing event on 20th-21st Aprile 2024, is POSTPONED.

Due to a poor forecast the organisers have decided to postpone the event planned for weekend of 20th April 2024.

Thank you to all the helpers and organisers planning to give up your time this weekend. Please stand down.

Thank you to all the competitors planning to travel to the event.

Event organiser is looking at dates that suit Newtownards sailing club and the tides and will post a new date as soon as we can. Probably May or more likely June.

The reason for the postponement is quite simply the forecast is for little of no wind on both days.

It did make the decision to postpone quite logical, but actually still difficult.
