Fun Gathering 1 - Spring Break

Fun Gathering 2 - Dublin (location tbd)
Fun Gathering will be organised together with an impromptu flea market of windsurfing gear and some sitting and chat! Organised by local windsurfers with Paola and Phil.
Cobh Island, Co. Cork
The legendary Round Cobh Island race this year coincides with a local big anniversary!
Slalom Ranked 2 - Downings, Donegal
The Irish National Racing Championship moves to beautiful Downings, Donegal for round 2 in July. A fantastic event for families and riders of all abilities. Also incorporates Junior, Youth and Wing foil racing!
Fun Gathering 3 - Glin, Co. Limerick
Fun Gathering 3 heads to Glin, Limerick for the 17th August. Join Paul and the guys there for easy fun!
Kona Racing - Malahide, Co. Dublin
The annual KONA windsurf race takes place in September. Join Cormac and the gang there on the day for some racing fun. There may be some equipment available for you to use also…do ask them! Date to be confirmed! Location most likely Malahide yacht club, but tbc.
Wave Ranked 1 - Magheroarty, Co. Donegal
Round 1 of the Wave championships kicks off in beautiful Magheroarty Beach, Co. Donegal. More details to follow here soon.
Slalom Ranked 3 - Magheroarty, Co. Donegal
Round 3 of the Slalom Racing Championships returns to beautiful Magheroarty Beach, Co. Donegal after many years absent. More details to follow here soon.

Slalom round 4 takes place at Ballyholme yacht club. More details to follow here.
Wave Ranked 2 - Mayo Mayhem
The Mayo Mayhem needs no introduction! Irelands flagship wave event! More details here soon!
Wave Ranked 3 - Kerry
Round 4 of the IWA ranked wave championships travels to Kerry! Details to follow.
Slalom Ranked 5 - Roundstone, Co. Galway
The IWA returns to the legendary location of Roundstone, Co. Galway…connemara windsurfing at it’s finest! Beautiful location to windsurf.
Wave Ranked 4 - Roundstone, Co. Galway
A new addition to the IWA calendar for 2024…a wave event at Roundstone. Exact location and details to be confirmed.
Fun Gathering 4 -Ladies Island, Wexford
Ladies Island is a gem of a location for windsurfing, and we close out the year with a fun trip to the South East. More details to be updated here.

The first event of the 2024 IWA Event calendar, Round 1 Slalom in Newtownards, Co. Down, has been POSTPONED. Click for more details.

2023 IWA Slalom Ranked Event No. 1
The racing season opens in Northern Ireland, hosted by Newtownards Sailing club on the weekend of 22nd - 23rd April 2023. Gold (£35) and Silver (£20) fleets, fin or foil for the Gold fleet slalom races, fun wing foil races and if there really is no wind at all try some SUP racing. IWA membershpi is required to partake in this event, and registration is online only. See you there!
